Design/3D Modeling
Skilcraft’s engineers bring unparalleled sheet metal fabricating expertise to your most complex design and manufacturing problems – overcoming difficulties even before the manufacturing process starts. Our advanced machinery and processing capabilities allow us to address multiple components of an assembly into a single design.
Skilcraft uses powerful programming and design tools, such as the latest version of AutoCad and Solid Edge software, to develop and manufacture products for our customers. Skilcraft’s expert designers can design top down or bottom up by tracking associated documentation, revisions, parts, sub-assemblies and assemblies. Software creates flat sheet metal patterns and all changes are made to a part during the initial design and subsequent revisions are automatically changed in the down line part drawings. Our designers can rotate the part or assembly, to any angle, and see the impact of their work immediately, with the most minute details that assure correct fit every time. Our customers can even view work being done on their project remotely via electronic drawing files that can be obtained online.
Prototyping
When needed, Skilcraft devotes the right resources to delivering prototypes that allow you to test new products and processes before committing to full product production. Our in-house prototype department is staffed with our most experienced people using high-precision machinery, so that designs and processes that can easily be transitioned to the production floor.
