Laser punching and cutting

Laser punching & cutting

Skilcraft’s cutting process is Nadcap-certified and offers precision laser-cutting and punching capabilities.

Our ability to support a wide range of challenging sheet metal shapes, thicknesses (from .020” to .250”), lengths (up to 12') and materials (including high-temperature alloys such as Inconel and stainless steel) allow us to produce high-quality, versatile parts that have reliably served customers across a variety of industries and use cases.

Laser punching is also an effective substitute for stamping. Skilcraft has helped customers with older designs that utilized stamping and develop the punching process to produce the same result, avoiding the tooling investment and intensive setup time, thus reducing the cost to the customer.

Building to the future

Traditionally, production equipment is designed to do a specific series of tasks very well and at high volumes. While that is true for Skilcraft’s laser punch, the software that powers the system is continually being improved and upgraded. This means we can continually advance to meet the needs of our customers, producing increasingly complex fabricated parts at scale.

We’re here to help.
